🚨 Principal Data Scientist – Commercial Analytics | Fully Remote | $30/hr | US/LATAM I'm currently partnering with a leading organisation that is looking to bring on an experienced Principal Data Scientist / Senior Data Science Lead to support commercial analytics initiatives across the business. This is a 12-month contract with strong potential for extension and is fully remote across the US/LATAM region. 📌 Role Details 💰 Rate: $30/hour 📅 Contract: 12 months initially 🔄 Extension: Strong potential for extension 🌎 Location: Fully Remote – US/LATAM 🔍 What you'll be doing • Lead data science and commercial analytics engagements with senior client stakeholders • Translate complex business challenges into scalable data science and ML solutions • Develop and refine analytics and ML models supporting commercial decision-making • Lead client workshops and present data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders • Guide offshore/nearshore data science and engineering teams and own delivery outcomes • Identify opportunities to improve existing analytics solutions and develop new PoCs • Work closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Product Managers and business teams • Mentor and support other data science professionals • Drive innovative approaches to commercial analytics using advanced ML techniques 🧠 Key Requirements We're particularly interested in candidates with: • 8–12 years of overall experience • Strong experience in Data Science, Statistics and Machine Learning • 3+ years of consulting or client-facing analytics experience • 2+ years within CPG, FMCG, retail or adjacent commercial analytics • Strong Python, SQL and PySpark/Spark skills • Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, AWS, Azure or GCP • Commercial analytics experience across pricing, promotions, customer analytics, consumer analytics, e-commerce or revenue optimisation • Proven ability to translate technical analysis into clear strategic business recommendations • Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills ⭐ Nice to Have • Supply chain or manufacturing analytics • Data engineering / MLOps • Power BI or Tableau • GenAI / LLMs • Agentic AI If you're a Senior, Lead, Staff or Principal Data Scientist with strong commercial analytics and client-facing experience and you're open to a fully remote US/LATAM contract, I'd be keen to speak. #DataScience #DataScientist #MachineLearning #CommercialAnalytics #CPG #FMCG #AnalyticsJobs #AIJobs #Python #PySpark #SQL #RemoteJobs #ContractJobs #LATAM #Hiring
