Job Description • SAS Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Active SC Clearance • £650 - £700 / day (Inside IR35) • 12 Months (Likely to extend) • Remote working with once a month in Manchester or Blackpool The SAS SME will provide deep technical domain expertise to guide the re-platforming of legacy SAS analytics workloads and ensure the seamless migration of underlying data into a modern cloud data warehouse. Key Responsibilities • Architecture and Strategy: Advise on SAS system architecture, data flows, and optimal cloud re-platforming approaches. • Migration and Validation: Define data migration and validation frameworks in close collaboration with the Data Engineering team. • Design and Documentation: Support high-level (HLD) and low-level design (LLD) documents, along with knowledge base articles for SAS components. • Data Assurance: Ensure absolute data integrity across migration phases and dual-running periods. • Technical Guidance: Mentor, guide, and support SAS engineers and installers throughout delivery. Key Skills And Experience • SAS Expertise: Comprehensive, subject-matter level knowledge of SAS platforms and analytics environments. • Cloud Re-platforming and ETL: Proven track record in complex ETL design, data flows, and migrating legacy SAS workloads into cloud data warehouses. • Data Migration and Validation: Deep experience in large-scale data migration, dual-running validation, and data integrity testing. • Knowledge Transfer: Strong capability in documenting technical architectures and upskilling engineering teams. • SC Clearance: Active SC Clearance is required. £650.00 - £700.00 / day Talent International UK and it's subsidiaries, Digital Gurus, Infinite Talent and Rethink act as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
