🖋️Data Scientist 📍London (full time onsite) ⌚Permanent (37.5 hours per week) £45,000 - £70,000 per annum OR 12 month contract £550 - £589 per day Inside IR35 🔓DV Clearance Our client is supporting the National Security space with the development of mission critical technology for data services. You will need to be experienced with Python and ideally Machine Learning and/or cloud technologies. You will need experience within the National Security space to be considered for this role! Key Responsibilities: • Working with datasets of varying sizes to cleanse, manipulate, fuse and explore, allowing customers to make faster, more accurate decisions. • Work with clients to understand their data needs and work to establish data solutions. • Use Python for data exploration, cleansing and manipulation of data. • Process data large data sets. • Apply machine learning models. Key Skills: • Experience with scripting languages like Python for data exploration, cleansing and manipulation. • A knowledge of machine learning models and statistical techniques, including validation. • An understanding of data analytics and data visualisation techniques. • Able to process large datasets via batch or stream processing using Apache Spark or similar. • Exposure to techniques used for acquiring and fusing data. • Cloud platforms (preferably AWS) or implementing cloud-based data science solutions. • Knowledge of, or willingness to learn DataOps. • Structured or unstructured database experience. • Container experience, including Docker and Kubernetes.
