Role description
Core Responsibilities
β’ Act as the lead data strategist, identifying and integrating new datasets into product capabilities.
β’ Partner with engineering to build and enhance data products.
β’ Execute analytical experiments across various business domains.
β’ Identify, collect, and prepare structured and unstructured datasets.
β’ Build algorithms and models for large-scale data mining, including data validation, error analysis, and model improvement.
β’ Analyze data for trends, patterns, and clear business objectives.
β’ Deploy analytical models to production in collaboration with software developers and ML engineers.
Required Qualifications
β’ 7+ years of experience in data science.
β’ Strong skills in data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis.
β’ Advanced experience in pattern recognition and predictive modeling.
β’ Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, SQL, and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, SAS).
β’ Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, research-oriented environment with multiple active projects.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in statistics, applied math, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
β’ 2+ years of project management experience.
β’ Relevant professional certifications.
