Role description

Dragonfli Group seeks a Data Scientist with 3+ years of experience as a data engineer or data analyst. This role involves architecting and engineering Machine Learning/AI-based solutions to address large-scale enterprise problems related to anomaly detection, entity behavior evaluation, and data quality improvement.
This is a multi-year contract position involving a large US federal agency. Candidates with previous federal contracting experience are preferred. U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required. If hired, all work related to this role must be performed within the continental U.S.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze data related to fraud resulting from identity verification and validation challenges.
• Support existing teams in solving enterprise-level problems.
• Architect and engineer Machine Learning/AI solutions for anomaly detection and entity behavior evaluation.
• Improve data quality through advanced data modeling.
• Implement Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) technologies.
• Work with highly structured data.
• Utilize data platforms and analytics tools such as Databricks and Zingg.
• Develop data visualization packages.
• Communicate and collaborate with multiple functional groups.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience as a data engineer or data analyst.
• 3+ years of experience with Machine Learning/AI-based solutions.
• Experience with data platforms and analytics tools (Databricks and Zingg).
• Proficiency in NoSQL, R, or Python and Spark.
• Experience with advanced data modeling and entity resolution.
• Experience implementing ETL technologies.
• Ability to work with highly structured data.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Skills:
• Expertise in data analysis and fraud detection.
• Proficiency in Machine Learning/AI technologies.
• Advanced data modeling capabilities.
