Role description

• LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY

• The role is Hybrid. 1-2 days a week in Dublin.
There may be times when we need to travel to other locations such as Oakland, Concord, or field sites around the service area.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Predictive Analytics, Risk Modeling, or Statistical Modeling
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Machine Learning, Forecasting, and Risk Scoring models
• Experience building predictive/probability models and working with large, complex operational datasets
• Strong knowledge of statistical inference, feature engineering, data wrangling, and data quality management
• Experience with GIS / Geospatial Analytics tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or GeoPandas preferred
• Utility / Energy / Transmission / Infrastructure risk domain experience highly preferred
• Exposure to wildfire risk, asset health, reliability analytics, ROW management, or encroachment analytics is a plus
• Experience with operational, inspection, outage, or asset management datasets preferred
• Familiarity with explainable AI, hazard models, Monte Carlo simulations, and scenario analysis preferred
• Experience with Power BI/Tableau and cloud analytics environments is a plus
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical insights to business and executive stakeholders
• Ability to work in ambiguous environments and convert business problems into analytical solutions
• Ideal candidate should combine technical Data Science expertise with operational/business understanding
