Job Info: Data Scientist • Job Type: Contract (W2) • Job Location: Remote • Job Duration: 1 year, plus 1 year extension (2 years) • Hourly Pay: $60-75hr per hour • Work Hours: Monday-Friday / 40 hours per week Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and strategic Data Scientist to support key analytics initiatives focused on improving operational efficiency and enabling data‑driven decision making. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, experience developing metrics, and the ability to build scalable data solutions. In this role, you will design data models, contribute to metric development, and support the automation of financial and operational tracking systems. You will collaborate with cross‑functional partners, mentor junior data scientists, and deliver insights through dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics tools. Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field. • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R preferred). Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or internal equivalents). • Strong background in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing. • Familiarity with cloud platforms and big data technologies (e.g., Hive, Presto, Spark).
