Palantir Foundry Consultant
Location: Remote - Travel to Manufacturing Sites as Needed
Engagement Type: 24 month contract
Compensation: $90-120p/h
Position Overview
International Motors is seeking a Palantir Foundry Consultant to support enterprise data modernization and operational intelligence initiatives across manufacturing, supply chain, and connected vehicle platforms.
This role will focus on designing and deploying scalable Palantir Foundry solutions that enable real-time decision-making across production plants, procurement, logistics, warranty analytics, and dealer networks.
The ideal consultant combines hands-on Foundry engineering expertise with strong business acumen in manufacturing and industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
Foundry Architecture & Deployment
• Design and implement Palantir Foundry ontologies aligned to manufacturing and supply chain workflows
• Build and optimize data pipelines using Foundry Pipeline Builder and Code Repositories
• Develop scalable transformations using Python, PySpark, and SQL
• Architect integrations across:
• ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
• MES platforms
• Supply Chain Management systems
• IoT / telematics data sources
• Warranty and dealer data platforms
Operational Intelligence & Manufacturing Analytics
• Develop dashboards and Workshop applications for:
• Production efficiency monitoring
• Quality control & defect analytics
• Inventory and parts optimization
• Procurement analytics
• Predictive maintenance modeling
• Warranty trend analysis
• Enable real-time operational visibility across plants and distribution centers
• Support AI/ML integration for forecasting and predictive insights
Data Governance & Scalability
• Establish enterprise data standards within Foundry
• Design ontology models that scale across multiple plants and regions
• Support CI/CD workflows and deployment best practices
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security and data governance policies
Stakeholder Engagement
• Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, and IT leadership
• Lead use case workshops and requirements gathering sessions
• Translate operational challenges into scalable data solutions
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Enterprise Data Architecture
• 2+ years hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry
• Strong experience with:
• Foundry Ontology modeling
• Pipeline Builder
• Code Workbooks
• Workshop
• Advanced proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL
• Experience integrating enterprise manufacturing systems
• Experience working in industrial, automotive, or supply chain environments
• Strong stakeholder communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Automotive or heavy equipment manufacturing experience
• Experience with connected vehicle or telematics data
• AI/ML modeling experience within Foundry
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience delivering digital transformation initiatives in large enterprises
