Senior Supply Chain AI Analytics Data Scientist Sunnyvale, CA; Hybrid 3 days ; need local to CA LinkedIn with profile photo and must be created before 2022 must be excellent Comms Experience & Seniority • 10+ years in analytics engineering, data science • Proven ability to own medium–large projects end‑to‑end with minimal guidance • Clear track record delivering production, business‑critical data products Core Technical Skills • Advanced SQL (Presto/Hive or equivalent) • Strong Python (pandas, NumPy; production-grade usage) • Hands-on experience building and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines • Data modeling & warehouse design (dimensional models, star/snowflake schemas, Databricks or similar) Analytics & Statistics • Practical application of statistical methods (regression, hypothesis testing, time series) • Experience conducting root-cause analysis and quantifying business impact • Ability to synthesize analysis into clear, executive-ready insights Domain & Modeling • Supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or operations domain experience • Predictive or forecasting use cases (demand forecasting, lead time prediction, risk scoring) Advanced Analytics • Machine learning frameworks (scikit learn, PyTorch) for applied business problems • Scenario modeling or simulation frameworks for operational decisions Visualization & Tooling • Dashboarding / visualization tools (Tableau or similar) • Experience using AI assisted development tools to accelerate engineering work Business & Communication • EXCELLENT communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Experience partnering closely with Operations / Finance / Planning Managers • Fluent in translating ambiguous business needs into reliable data solutions
