Data Scientist - Remote

Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a remote Data Scientist. Summary: The Data Scientist typically involves using data to answer business questions and improve decision-making. This includes collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets using statistical and machine learning techniques to extract meaningful insights and build predictive models. Data Scientists communicate their findings through visualizations and reports, providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders. Job Duties may include: • Data Scientist will design various AB tests, multivariate tests and works with organizations stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data • Produces innovative solutions driven by exploratory data analysis from large high dimensional datasets • Expertise in analytics algorithm such as Apriori, Decision Trees algorithm, Naive Bayes algorithm, clustering algorithm, Neural Network algorithm, Linear Regression algorithm, Random Forest • Applies strong knowledge of statistics, machine learning, Data modelling and simulations to recognize patterns • Identifies opportunities, pose business questions and make valuable discoveries leading to new product development, enhancements and prototype development • As a Data Scientist, you will develop increasing complex models & monitors performance of developed models and makes recommendations to increase accuracy • Documents implementation details and choice of models, rationale and reasoning • Acts as a mentor to lesser tenured colleagues Requirements • Bachelor's degree • 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist Top Skills • NLP • SQL • Python Tech Stack/Focus Areas: • Natural Language Processing (NLP) • Machine Learning (focused on NLP) • Python & SQL • Automation techniques • Transformers • Text and transcript data (member phone calls) The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
