BCforward is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Scientist / Data Engineer to join our dynamic remote based team. Job Title: Data Scientist / Data Engineer Expected Duration: 6+ Months Location: Remote Job Description: We are seeking a Data Scientist / Data Engineer with strong experience in data analytics, experimentation, and data platform engineering. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across data pipelines, performing statistical analysis, building dashboards, and supporting modern cloud-based data environments. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, analytical reports, and data visualizations for business stakeholders. • Design and execute A/B tests and experimentation frameworks to support data-driven decision making. • Work with Databricks and Azure platforms to manage, analyze, and model large-scale datasets. • Use Python, PySpark, and SQL to build data pipelines, perform exploratory analysis, and implement ML/statistical models. • Apply statistical techniques and core data science fundamentals to create insights and recommendations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support CI/CD pipelines and ensure scalable deployment of analytical solutions. Required Skills & Experience • 2+ years of experience in Data Science, Data Engineering, or a similar analytical role. • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL. • Hands-on experience with PySpark and Azure Databricks. • Experience developing dashboards using Power BI (or similar BI tools). • Practical knowledge of A/B testing and experimental design. • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and modern data workflows.
