• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus. • 3-5 years of experience in data science or a related role. • Strong preference for candidates with retail data experience • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scala. • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). • Strong understanding of statistical models and machine learning techniques. • Proven ability to understand the data ecosystem, can pull out insights & tease out the patterns with that data • Having knowledge of different statistical packages and correct model application based off business questions & analysis at hand • Strong exploratory data analysis (EDA) capabilities with a knack for storytelling through data. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively. • Supply chain, ecommerce, healthcare or marketing backgrounds are a plus • Experience presenting data created in visualization tool is a plus ( PowerBI mainly) • Ability to work effectively with teams in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data insights clearly to various stakeholders.
