What are we looking for in our Data Scientist? Role: Data Scientist Schedule: Hybrid – Mountain View CA Duration: 6 months contract Pay Range: $90/h - $110/h on W2, DOE Job Responsibilities: • Data Analysis: Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and statisticians to analyze product accuracy and consistency. Develop dashboards and tools for continuous monitoring and generate on-demand reports for regressions and failure analysis. • Visualization: Design and implement visualization tools and dashboards for quality monitoring. • Data Engineering: Build pipelines for data acquisition, cleaning, aggregation, and analysis of benchmarking and telemetry data. • Collaboration: This role involves interaction with a remote team in Switzerland, requiring frequent early morning (approximately 8 am PST) meetings. Required Skills: • Proficiency in Python, Pandas, and SQL. • Expertise in Python visualization libraries (Altair, Seaborn, Matplotlib). • Experience with data processing pipelines and visualization tools. • Experience in geographical data analysis and coordinate systems (Cartesian, Latitude/Longitude). • Experience with GIS tools and Google Earth Engine (JavaScript or Python). Desired Skills: • Experience with statistical analysis and hypothesis testing. • Familiarity with geodetic datums, local tangent plane coordinates, projected coordinate systems, and Earth ellipsoid models. • Familiarity with georeferencing and surveying techniques. • Familiarity with R and C++.
