The role focuses on natural language processing (NLP), large language models (LLMs), and AI-driven automation, aiming to transform manual business processes into AI-enabled workflows. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models, especially around natural language response generation from structured datasets. • Lead the conversion of manual workflows and SQL scripts into AI-powered, automated natural language systems. • Apply semantic parsing, code-to-text generation, summarization, and other NLP techniques to real-world business processes. • Collaborate with data engineers and product teams to architect scalable AI solutions in a cloud-based (AWS) environment. • Support early feasibility studies and rapidly prototype AI/ML concepts. • Serve as a bridge between AI, engineering, and business stakeholders by clearly communicating complex technical ideas to technical and semi-technical audiences. • Evaluate and integrate APIs, LLMs, and third-party AI services into existing infrastructure. Qualifications: Required: • 6–8 years of progressive experience in data science, analytics, and AI-focused roles. • At least 2–3 years working with AI/ML techniques, especially natural language processing and large language models (LLMs). • Proven experience in: Natural language processing: semantic parsing, code-to-text, text generation/summarization. • Proven experience in: Transforming unstructured data into structured formats suitable for ML. • Proven experience in: SQL and relational data modeling. • Proven experience in: Python for data science and ML tasks. • Proven experience in: Designing AI solutions that bridge business requirements and technical implementation. • Solid understanding of data engineering concepts —while this is not a data engineering role, the ability to collaborate with engineers and understand data pipelines is crucial. • Familiarity with prompt engineering and API integration of AI models. • Comfortable working in AWS-based environments. Preferred: • Hands-on experience with: LLM fine-tuning. • Hands-on experience with: Embeddings and vector databases. • Hands-on experience with: Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). • Hands-on experience with: Agentic AI architectures. • Exposure to healthcare insurance data (e.g., claims, benefits, enrollment). • Experience integrating AI solutions across multiple platforms and systems.
