Data Scientist

Job Summary Our client is seeking a Data Scientist to join their team! This position is located in Irving, Texas. Duties • Lead and execute data science projects, delivering innovative technical solutions that drive improved business outcomes • Design, develop, and validate machine learning and statistical models to ensure optimal performance and scalability • Collaborate closely with machine learning engineers to deploy models in both real-time and batch processing environments, and monitor model performance over time • Support strategic discussions with key business stakeholders by providing data-driven insights and identifying opportunities for growth and optimization • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration across the business • Serve as a subject matter expert in machine learning and predictive modeling, providing guidance and expertise across projects • Stay current with emerging trends by actively researching new theories, methodologies, and technologies in data science and AI Desired Skills/Experience: • Proficient in Python and SQL for data analysis, modeling, and automation • Hands-on experience with database technologies, including PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch • Familiarity with modern transformer architectures, such as Small Language Models, Large Language Models, Vision-Language Models, and Embedding Models • Expertise in API development and container technology • Experience with cloud platform and services such as: BigQuery, google cloud storage, CloudSQL andVectorSearch • Working knowledge of software development tools and practices such as: Git, branching model, agile development, Test-driven-development Benefits: • Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Plans • 401K offered $58.00 - $84.00 (est. hourly rate)
