Kforce has a client in Princeton, NJ that is seeking a creative and talented Data Scientist to join a dynamic team focused on delivering innovative solutions that make customers' lives easier - helping them power, protect, and intelligently manage their homes and businesses. This role offers a collaborative and inclusive work environment that supports professional growth and development. Key Responsibilities:
β’ Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets to ensure high-quality data for quantitative analysis, including AI applications
β’ Develop and implement machine learning models for predictive analytics, recommendation systems, anomaly detection, and other AI-driven insights
β’ Design and implement solutions to improve team efficiency
β’ Analyze complex data structures to derive actionable business insights
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, data engineers, and business analysts to integrate AI solutions into workflows
β’ Optimize and fine-tune AI models for improved accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
β’ Stay current with advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science technologies
β’ Create data visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders
β’ Document methodologies, processes, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility
Requirements
β’ Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Quantitative Finance, Statistics, or Mathematics (Master's degree preferred)
β’ 3+ years of experience in data analysis, machine learning, and AI applications
β’ Proficiency in SQL and quantitative programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB
β’ Experience working with large datasets
β’ Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-Learn
β’ Strong skills in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib
β’ Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
β’ Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) or Computer Vision
β’ Knowledge of big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Databricks
β’ Exposure to deep learning techniques and neural networks
β’ Understanding of MLOps principles and deploying AI models in production environments
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
