Overview: The Data Scientist will focus on creating innovative mathematical models to inform business decision-making through data. This role involves performing analytical consultation and tasks centered around scientific modeling, achieving business goals, pursuing innovation, and supporting an enterprise-wide mission. The Decision Scientist will work with various business units across a large organization.
Job Must Haves:
• Ability to work with little guidance on science methodologies and modeling approaches
• Ability to provide peer leadership to junior colleagues
• Competence in at least one analytical field (Statistics, Econometrics, Machine learning)
• Competence in Python
• 5 or more years of related/relevant experience
• BA/BS Degree Comp Sci/IS or related field
Job Nice to Haves:
• Proven knowledge of econometrics, revenue management context
• Familiarity with software development tools such as GitLab/GitHub, Docker, and cloud computing tools such as AWS
• Experience with production code, deploying models, and expertise in Python
• Experience with Docker or similar tools
