Position Title – Senior Data Scientist Hourly Pay Rate (w2 Role) - $75 Contract for 6 months Plus 100% Remote Job Summary Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist with a strong foundation in generative AI and natural language processing (NLP) to support innovative AI initiatives. This role involves collaborating with a Senior Data Scientist to lead and execute projects that leverage large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and advanced data science methodologies. Key Responsibilities: • Partner with a Senior Data Scientist to plan, develop, and deliver generative AI projects across various domains. • Independently apply techniques such as LLM prompting, orchestration (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex), semantic search, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). • Conduct research and analysis, build models, and evaluate performance using structured testing and validation methods. • Present findings through clear, well-organized verbal and written reports to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Contribute to the development of scalable AI solutions using Python and modern data science tools. Required Technical Skills: • Strong proficiency in Python and core data science libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn). • Experience working with LLMs and orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex. • Familiarity with NLP techniques, prompt engineering, semantic similarity, and embeddings. Soft Skills & Core Competencies: • Excellent collaboration and communication skills. • Strong planning, organization, and time management abilities. • Analytical thinking with attention to detail in modeling and documentation. • Ability to work independently and present complex findings clearly. Qualifications: • PhD in a relevant field preferred; Master’s degree with equivalent experience will be considered. • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist following graduate education.
