🚀 Data Scientist – AWS & LLM Projects (Inside IR35) 📍 Location: Milton Keynes (3 days/week onsite) 📅 Contract: 6 months 💰 Day Rate: £500–£550/day (Inside IR35) 🕒 Start Date: July 2025 A global technology consultancy is looking for an experienced Data Scientist to support the delivery of advanced machine learning and LLM-based OCR projects in an enterprise AWS environment. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with strong Python skills, deep AWS knowledge, and experience deploying models at scale. 🔧 Key Responsibilities: Develop ML models using SageMaker, Bedrock, and Python frameworks Build OCR pipelines using Amazon Textract, Tesseract, and LLM-based approaches Deploy scalable solutions using Lambda, Step Functions, S3, and Athena Translate business problems into ML solutions, KPIs, and data insights Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders Evaluate model performance with A/B testing, experimentation, and analytics Ensure security, compliance, and GDPR/PII considerations in all deployments ✅ Required Skills: 5–7 years in data science roles, ideally in consulting or large enterprise Strong coding skills with Python, pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, Hugging Face Experience with traditional ML (regression, classification, clustering, time-series) Familiarity with APIs to LLMs/ChatGPT, Bedrock, and MLOps tooling Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum, Jira/Azure DevOps
