Role description
Data Scientist Location: Fully Remote (UK-based) Day Rate: £450 - £575 (Outside IR35) This is a fully remote, outside IR35 contract, offering the opportunity to apply your technical expertise to complex, real-world data challenges. What you’ll do • Work with cross-functional teams to define business problems and deliver data-led solutions. • Design and build algorithms and statistical models to extract insights from large, complex datasets. • Collaborate with engineers and developers to integrate models into production environments. • Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Ensure data quality and integrity across all outputs. • Continuously improve models and processes using emerging technologies and best practices. What you’ll bring • Proven experience as a Data Scientist, with strong proficiency in Python and libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, and Plotly. • Deep understanding of machine learning, statistical modelling, and data mining techniques. • Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and working with cloud infrastructure (AWS experience preferred). • Solid background in data visualisation, with the ability to present complex results clearly and effectively. • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. • Experience applying data science within engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environments is advantageous.
