Data Scientist

Remote with travel to office 1-2 days a month in Conshohocken, PA Our client requires a Data Scientist to deliver data-driven insights and machine learning solutions that enhance business performance. The engagement emphasizes quality, collaboration, and agile delivery while leveraging Python or R, modern data platforms, and visualization tools to support decision-making. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Rate: $55.00 to $65.00/hr. w2 Responsibilities • Work with large volumes of raw data to build datasets, features, and models. • Develop analytical and machine learning solutions using Python and/or R. • Create data visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Tableau. • Apply data modeling, mining, and production processes to deliver reliable outputs. • Contribute input to user-story prioritization based on analytical insights and approaches. • Collaborate with cross-functional and virtual teams to achieve goals and deliver results. • Follow DevOps and agile development practices for robust, iterative delivery. • Support development and industrialization of analytical software products. • Maintain high attention to detail and quality standards in all deliverables. • Stay current with AI, ML, and data technologies such as Hive or Hadoop. Experience Requirements • Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing architectures. • Hands-on coding experience in Python and/or R for machine learning development. • Experience with statistical analysis and statistical software. • Proficiency in data processing, data analysis, and data engineering workflows. • Experience with data modeling, mining, and production pipelines. • Experience with visualization tools, including Tableau. • Knowledge of at least one AI building block and related applications. • Familiarity with technologies such as Hive or Hadoop. • Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments. • Experience in software engineering practices for analytical products.
