Data Scientist (Remote – USA) Location: United States (100% Remote) Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract (W2) Experience Required: 2+ Years Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens / Green Card About the Role Microsoft is looking for a talented and motivated Data Scientist with 2+ years of experience to join our growing data team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience working with large datasets, and the ability to build predictive models that drive business decisions. This is a fully remote opportunity within the United States. Key Responsibilities • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights • Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms • Build and deploy data pipelines and data-driven solutions • Perform statistical analysis to identify trends and patterns • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate models into applications • Create dashboards and data visualizations for stakeholders • Communicate insights and recommendations to business teams Required Skills & Qualifications • 2+ years of experience in Data Science or Machine Learning • Strong programming skills in Python or R • Experience with SQL and relational databases • Knowledge of Machine Learning libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib • Strong understanding of statistics, probability, and data modeling • Experience working with large datasets and data preprocessing Preferred Qualifications • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP • Knowledge of big data technologies like Spark or Hadoop • Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) or Deep Learning • Experience in Agile development environments Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
