Role description
Data Scientist
Hybrid in Boston, MA or San Diego, CA. Ideally willing to come on site 2-3x / week
In this role, you would:
β’ Write, maintain, and optimize SQL queries to merge data from multiple sources and build robust datasets.
β’ Research and develop innovative statistical models to support data-driven decision-making.
β’ Analyze data for trends and patterns and provide actionable insights.
β’ Leverage claims data, real-world evidence, patient-level data, and product usage to drive market intelligence and enhance consumer experience.
β’ Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across functions to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
β’ Support the development of KPIs and operational metrics tailored to project requirements.
β’ Manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, tracking progress and keeping stakeholders informed.
β’ Work with external vendors and partners as needed to support data initiatives.
Weβre looking for someone with:
β’ High-level SQL and data manipulation skills
β’ Experience in statistical analysis and advanced analytics
β’ Strong ability to navigate large, structured, and semi-structured datasets
β’ Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex findings into actionable business recommendations
β’ Familiarity with healthcare datasets, including claims data and patient-level data (experience with medical device or diabetes data is a plus)
β’ A self-starter attitude with eagerness to learn and thrive in a growing business
