Job Summary Our client is seeking a Data Scientist to join their team! This position is located in Irving, Texas. Duties β€’ Lead end-to-end data science projects, delivering innovative, data-driven solutions that address complex business challenges and drive measurable outcomes β€’ Design, develop, and validate advanced machine learning and statistical models, ensuring optimal performance and scalability β€’ Collaborate closely with machine learning engineers to deploy models in production environments, both real-time and batch, while implementing performance monitoring and improvement strategies β€’ Partner with key business stakeholders to translate strategic goals into actionable data science opportunities and provide insights that inform decision-making β€’ Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships, fostering deep collaboration with product, engineering, and business teams β€’ Serve as a subject matter expert in machine learning and predictive analytics, providing guidance on best practices and model interpretability β€’ Stay current with emerging trends, research, and advancements in data science, continually exploring new methodologies and technologies to enhance solution effectiveness Desired Skills/Experience: β€’ Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related discipline β€’ Proficient in Python and SQL, with strong coding practices and data manipulation skills β€’ Practical experience with modern database technologies β€’ Familiar with transformer-based architectures including SLMs, LLMs, VLMs, and embedding models β€’ Demonstrated expertise in API development and containerization technologies β€’ Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and Vector Search β€’ Knowledgeable in software development methodologies, including Git, branching strategies, Agile workflows, and test-driven development β€’ Proven experience developing LLM-based solutions such as retrieval-augmented generation systems, chatbots, and agentic AI applications Benefits: β€’ Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Plans β€’ Employee-Owned Profit Sharing (ESOP) β€’ 401K offered The approximate pay range for this position is between $56.00 and $80.00.
