Job Title: Senior Data Scientist (LLMs/GenAI) Location: Remote (EST hours) Type: – Contract (40 hrs/week, W2) Duration: 6 months 🧠 Job Summary: We’re seeking a Senior Data Scientist with strong experience in LLMs, Generative AI, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools like Vertex AI and BigQuery. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deploy scalable ML/AI solutions, especially in NLP and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). You will collaborate across engineering and product teams to drive innovation and create real business value through AI. 🔧 Mandatory Skills: • LLMs & GenAI: Prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG • Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Vertex AI, BigQuery, GenAI Studio • ML Frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn • NLP & Deep Learning: Practical experience in deploying NLP models • Python Programming: Strong coding and data pipeline development • Data Handling: SQL, NoSQL, data wrangling, feature engineering • Statistics & ML: Hypothesis testing, classification, regression, clustering 🛠️ Responsibilities: • Design, train, and fine-tune LLM and GenAI models • Build and deploy models using GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery ML) • Develop NLP pipelines and integrate RAG techniques • Prototype solutions using LangChain, Hugging Face, and GenAI tools • Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders • Stay updated on AI trends and emerging technologies • Contribute to best practices, Agile ceremonies, and team processes 🎓 Qualifications: • Master’s in Data Science, ML, Computer Science, or related field • 5+ years in Data Science/ML with proven project delivery • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences • Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration 📌 Nice-to-Have Skills: • LangChain, Hugging Face, Vertex AI Model Garden • Google Cloud ML certifications (e.g., GCP ML Engineer, Data Engineer) • SaaS or customer experience domain exposure • Responsible AI & ethical model development
