Pay Rate: $66.34 - $66.35 per hourPosition SummaryThe Data Scientist / Analyst will support the World Wide Cost Desk (WWCD) team by delivering advanced cost analysis, automation, and predictive analytics to support strategic roadmap decision-making. This role partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze complex product costs and translate insights into clear, business-relevant recommendations.The ideal candidate brings strong data science, financial modeling, and analytics expertise with hands-on experience using Excel, Tableau, and Alteryx/KNIME.Key Responsibilities
• Support WWCD with cost analysis, automation, and cost prediction initiatives
• Perform detailed analysis of complex product costs using Excel, Tableau, and Alteryx/KNIME
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs for data analysis
• Apply predictive analytics to forecast future program costs
• Identify cost deltas, issues, and develop workaround solutions
• Design and manage large analytical projects ensuring data accuracy and clarity
• Translate complex data into concise, business-relevant insights for stakeholders
• Build, maintain, test, and document complex workflows in Alteryx/KNIME
• Maintain documentation for database workflows, requirements, and procedures
Required Skills & QualificationsRequired
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis or engineering
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, linking, formatting, charts)
• Experience with financial modeling
• Hands-on experience with Alteryx and/or KNIME, Tableau, and Excel
• Experience with management information systems (e.g., KNIME, Alteryx, Tableau, Business Objects)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate cross-functionally
Preferred / Additional
• Experience with cost analytics in product or manufacturing environments
• Strong data science and advanced analytics background
