Role description
Job Title: Data clerk - Finance Location: Cranberry Township, PA 16066 Duration: 18 Months Contract (Potential Temp to Perm) Pay Rate: $25/hr. - $27/hr. Shift Time: 1st shift Hybrid work option based on business needs. NOT looking for data analytics. This is not an IT position. NOT IT OR DATA ANALYTICS Job description: Support a company-wide rebranding initiative by assisting with updates and maintenance of Material Master data and Purchasing Info Records (PIRs) within SAP. The position focuses on executing defined data updates, validating accuracy, and ensuring consistency across materials and purchasing records during the rebranding transition. Responsibilities: • Support the update and maintenance of SAP Material Master records (e.g., descriptions, units of measure, status flags, purchasing-related fields) impacted by rebranding. • Assist with creating and updating Purchasing Info Records (PIRs) to ensure correct supplier, pricing, and purchasing data alignment. • Execute data changes using documented procedures, templates, and approval workflows. • Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure consistency between Material Master data and Purchasing Info Records. • Identify data discrepancies, duplicates, or missing information and escalate issues to senior team members. • Partner with Commercialization, Procurement, and Master Data team to confirm rebranding requirements and data standards. • Assist with pre- and post-go-live data cleanup related to materials and purchasing data. • Participate in onboarding, training, and knowledge transfer related to SAP materials and purchasing processes. Education and experience: • High school diploma or associate degree required • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, information systems, or a related field preferred. • Basic understanding of ERP systems (SAP preferred) or strong interest in learning SAP Material Master and purchasing data concepts. • Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (sorting, filtering, basic formulas).
