JOB TITLE: Data Insights Specialist

COMPENSATION: $30 – $35.25/hr
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Data Insights Specialist to support data-driven decision-making across key business functions, with a focus on financial dispute and chargeback operations. This role is responsible for analyzing complex datasets, developing reporting solutions, and identifying trends to improve operational efficiency and reduce risk.
Ideal candidates will have experience in chargeback processes and familiarity with Mastercard and Visa rules, along with exposure to tools commonly used in payment dispute workflows.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, or working in data-centric roles
• Demonstrated ability to generate insights and translate them into actionable recommendations
• Hands-on experience with chargeback processes, systems, and operations
• Strong understanding of data integration and architecture (5+ years)
• Experience training or mentoring others in reporting and analytics is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and create data strategies that align with objectives
• Provide analytical support and insights for major initiatives and cross-functional efforts
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide visibility into risk and operational performance
• Monitor trends and recommend tools or processes to enhance data usage and business outcomes
• Support the development of data infrastructure and warehousing solutions
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and lifecycle management across systems
• Translate analytical findings into practical actions and improvements
• Standardize performance reporting and drive continuous improvement across the Risk team
