Position Summary
The client is seeking a Data Storyteller Manager to lead a team responsible for transforming complex marketing and customer data into compelling, insight-driven narratives that influence business decisions and drive growth. This role combines marketing analytics, data visualization, business intelligence, and strategic consulting to deliver actionable insights across the marketing and client lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Lead and mentor a team of data storytellers, driving analytics initiatives and delivering actionable recommendations.
β’ Partner with business leaders and marketers to define analytics requirements and solve evolving business challenges.
β’ Translate complex datasets into executive-ready presentations, dashboards, and visualizations.
β’ Analyze data across CRM, digital, social, content marketing, finance, and customer platforms to identify trends and growth opportunities.
β’ Define KPIs, benchmarks, and measurement frameworks to evaluate marketing effectiveness.
β’ Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
β’ Ensure data quality and continuously improve measurement processes and analytics capabilities.
Required Qualifications
β’ 10+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, data storytelling, or related analytical roles.
β’ Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects in a matrixed environment.
β’ Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
β’ Deep understanding of B2B marketing strategy, customer analytics, and marketing performance measurement.
β’ Advanced experience with:
β’ Data visualization tools: Tableau, Power BI, Qlik
β’ Web analytics: Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics
β’ CRM and marketing automation platforms: Salesforce, Eloqua
β’ Statistical methods including regression analysis, segmentation, and attribution modeling
β’ Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and data-driven storytelling.
Preferred Experience
Experience in consulting, professional services, or large enterprise marketing organizations, with a demonstrated ability to convert complex data into clear, persuasive business narratives and strategic recommendations.
