Positionβs Contributions to Work Group:
As a Data Visualization Specialist in Parts Pricing, you will use methods in visualization and analytics to solve problems for internal customers. You will contribute to the Parts Pricing mission by engaging in projects of medium to high complexity with direct business impact.
This role is primarily focused on the analysis and dashboard development of Parts Pricing data. Top candidates will have strong development experience in Power BI and business intelligence experience.
Typical task breakdown:
Understand and translate business requirements as it relates to Business Intelligence and data models into actionable insights
Design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports
Collaborate and engage stakeholders to understand their data needs in order to deliver quality business intelligence solutions
Provide visualization and analytics support to high profile Enterprise Strategy Division Projects
Use visualization and analytic methods to help the Parts Pricing Organization make data-driven decisions
Interaction with team:
Collaborate with US team and Geneva leader. Working with a global team.
Work environment:
Office
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline (I.e. statistics, economics, mathematics, engineering, finance, computer science/information systems, business analytics, or similar) preferred.
2-4 years of relevant experience required.
Masterβs Degree will be accepted.
Technical Skills
(Required)
2+ years of experience in previous BI role, with Power BI experience
1+ years of experience using SQL
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with DAX, M code programming or Power BI data flows is highly desirable
Experience with Power BI publication in online workspaces
Proficiency in data extraction and transformation from various data sources
Expertise in report and dashboard design for visually appealing and interactive reports
Top 3 technical skills: 2+ years of experience in previous BI role, with Power BI experience, 1+ years of experience using SQL, Expertise in report and dashboard design for visually appealing and interactive reports.
