Contract Details - Work Mode: Remote - Location: Philadelphia, PA - Duration: 04/06/2026 - 07/31/2027 About the Opportunity Join a data literacy team focused on elevating user experience and data storytelling across analytics products. You will create reusable templates in leading BI platforms (with emphasis on Power BI), teach UX and data storytelling concepts to diverse stakeholders, and consult on self-service analytics solutions. Success will be measured by the quality and timeliness of materials produced, clarity of instruction, and UX impact of consultation engagements. This role blends hands-on design for dashboards and reports, curriculum development and delivery, and collaborative consulting to improve how data is communicated and consumed. You will apply accessibility and inclusive design principles to ensure data products are clear, usable, and effective. Key Responsibilities β€’ Develop high-quality templates for dashboards, reports, and presentations in BI tools (Power BI emphasized). β€’ Create and deliver UX and data storytelling training for enterprise audiences. β€’ Consult with project teams to apply UX and storytelling best practices to real-world analytics products. β€’ Apply accessibility standards and inclusive design across all data assets. β€’ Collaborate with analysts, designers, and business stakeholders to translate questions into clear, actionable visualizations. Required Qualifications β€’ 2 years of UX experience with a portfolio demonstrating dashboard/report design. β€’ 3 years of data analysis experience. β€’ Advanced proficiency with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, SAP Business Objects, Posit Connect); hands-on Power BI experience to support template creation. β€’ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. β€’ Intermediate proficiency with SQL and R. β€’ Foundational knowledge of data storytelling and user-centered design principles; ability to explain design choices to diverse audiences. β€’ Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design practices. β€’ Intermediate knowledge of medical terminology. β€’ Strong communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality. β€’ Education: High School Diploma/GED required. Preferred Qualifications β€’ Bachelor’s degree in a related field. β€’ 5 years of data analysis experience. β€’ 1 year experience in a complex healthcare environment. β€’ 1 year technical development experience in Power BI and other data visualization tools.
