Top Skills & Years of Experience • 8+ years of Teradata experience (Top requirement) • Experience supporting the loading of data from multiple source systems • Ability to provide targeted training and technical guidance to development teams for troubleshooting and batch support • Minimum 5 years of Linux experience • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment • Strong decision-making skills while adhering to organizational policies Preferred Skills • Previous Government or State experience • Experience with cloud-based BI tools • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Job Responsibilities • Support complex Common Batch Framework and Common Scheduler to ensure reliable data availability for critical business processes. • Manage Data Warehouse change management infrastructure and code/DDL promotion processes. • Maintain Linux security structure on Data Warehouse ETL servers. • Manage Teradata security and user access. • Conduct data architecture reviews and audits. • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture and processes. • Provide support for escalated Data Warehouse issue troubleshooting and resolution. • Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and tools to improve performance and scalability. • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and effective use of enterprise data assets. • Manage and support ETL and data integration across multiple systems. • Collaborate with external vendors and third-party service providers. • Support patch management, system upgrades, and maintenance. • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues. • Perform data profiling and implement data quality validation rules. • Execute data cleansing and standardization activities. • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and backup strategies. • Lead migration of Data Warehouse processes to standardized frameworks. • Conduct elevated access reviews and security audits. • Identify and remediate audit findings related to data systems and security. Required Qualifications • 8+ years of Teradata experience. • Experience supporting data loading from multiple source systems. • Ability to provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support. • Minimum 5 years of Linux experience. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications • Government or State experience. • Experience with cloud-based BI tools. • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
