Role description
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience: Proven experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing data warehouse solutions. Prior consulting or project-based experience in a data environment is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Strong expertise with data warehousing platforms.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools; experience with Airbyte is a significant plus.
• Proficiency in BI and data visualization tools, including Power BI (highly desired) and/or Tableau.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, and optimization.
• Familiarity with data modeling, data governance, and database management principles.
· Soft Skills:
· Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business insights for non-technical audiences.
· Strong project management skills, including the ability to oversee implementation plans and timelines.
· A passion for teaching and mentoring, capable of building data literacy within an organization.
· Proactive problem-solver with a strong ability to conduct current state assessments and gap analyses. Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience with other relevant tools like Retool or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Certifications in data warehousing, cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Database - Specialty), or BI tools.
