Role description
Job Summary β€’ This contractor will support day to day operations of BMC Remedy/Helix. β€’ They would focus on the data warehouse side of the Helix platform. location: Cleveland, Ohio job type: Contract salary: $68.57 - 78.57 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors Responsibilities β€’ Leading efforts in an Agile environment, running stand-up meetings and managing story cards β€’ Interfacing with internal customers and sponsors β€’ Working within the Data Warehouse β€’ Working on ETL and ELT workflows and automations β€’ Working with SSIS packages β€’ Working on SQL queries, transformations, and analysis β€’ Working with Git-Based development practices and processes β€’ Working with Python, Snowflake, Restful API's, Prefect β€’ Working with orchestration tools such as AWS, Azure DevOps, CI/CD concepts, Graph Qualifications β€’ Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum of six years of work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications. β€’ In lieu of the above, the completion of a technical training program, and a minimum of six years related work experience. β€’ In lieu of the above, a minimum of eight years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications. Skills β€’ Prior experience in a data warehouse and fundamental understanding of who consumes data warehouse data and their needs (e.g., analysts, data scientists, business users). β€’ Demonstrated understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) workflows and automation. β€’ Deep understanding of advanced SQL for querying, transforming, and analyzing data as well as troubleshooting advanced queries required including experience working with tables, views, stored procedures, and functions. β€’ Experience with Git-based development β€’ Experience with Python, Snowflake, Restful API's, Prefect or other orchestration tools β€’ Strong communication skills β€’ Knowledge and use of SSIS for ETL workflows. β€’ Familiar with AWS β€’ Comfortable working with Azure DevOps and CI/CD concepts β€’ Experience with Graph QL Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.
