Data Warehouse Developer Lead

Job Summary • This contractor will support day to day operations of BMC Remedy/Helix. • They would focus on the data warehouse side of the Helix platform. location: Cleveland, Ohio job type: Contract salary: $68.57 - 78.57 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors Responsibilities • Leading efforts in an Agile environment, running stand-up meetings and managing story cards • Interfacing with internal customers and sponsors • Working within the Data Warehouse • Working on ETL and ELT workflows and automations • Working with SSIS packages • Working on SQL queries, transformations, and analysis • Working with Git-Based development practices and processes • Working with Python, Snowflake, Restful API's, Prefect • Working with orchestration tools such as AWS, Azure DevOps, CI/CD concepts, Graph Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum of six years of work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications. • In lieu of the above, the completion of a technical training program, and a minimum of six years related work experience. • In lieu of the above, a minimum of eight years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications. Skills • Prior experience in a data warehouse and fundamental understanding of who consumes data warehouse data and their needs (e.g., analysts, data scientists, business users). • Demonstrated understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) workflows and automation. • Deep understanding of advanced SQL for querying, transforming, and analyzing data as well as troubleshooting advanced queries required including experience working with tables, views, stored procedures, and functions. • Experience with Git-based development • Experience with Python, Snowflake, Restful API's, Prefect or other orchestration tools • Strong communication skills • Knowledge and use of SSIS for ETL workflows. • Familiar with AWS • Comfortable working with Azure DevOps and CI/CD concepts • Experience with Graph QL Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.
