Position: Datawarehouse Engineer Location: Plano, TX and Jersey City, NJ Position Type: W2 contract Duration: 12+ Months Hybrid: 3 Days onsite and 2 days remote The ideal candidate will have: Python, Shell, Oracle, Data Warehousing, Perl and Database Development Job Description: Proven experience as a Data Warehouse Engineer with a strong emphasis on Shell Scripting and Oracle development. Practical working experience in Linux environment setup and shell scripting. Practical knowledge of Unix file systems including basics of mount types, permissions, standard tools, pipes. Working knowledge of Python and preferably also Perl. Practical working experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle Exadata. Understanding of the Agile methodology. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Passion for automation and continual process improvement. Minimum 5 years of experience. Bachelor’s degree in STEM related field. Implement, configure, and manage Linux-based processes and infrastructure for data warehousing. Identify and implement system/architecture improvements.
