Data Warehouse Engineer (Charlotte or Addison)

Our client, a leading organization in the financial sector, is seeking a Data Warehouse Engineer (Charlotte or Addison) to join their dynamic team. As a Data Warehouse Engineer (Charlotte or Addison), you will be an integral part of the Data Solutions Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Data Warehouse Engineer (Charlotte or Addison) Location: Charlotte, NC (preferred) or Addison, TX What's the Job? • Collaborate closely with business partners to gather and develop detailed requirements for data warehouse solutions. • Design, develop, and implement ETL processes within a Data Warehouse environment, ensuring high performance and scalability. • Lead discussions with architecture teams to determine optimal design solutions and propose innovative technology adoption ideas. • Coordinate with nearshore and offshore teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery. • Work alongside Business Analysts to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions, addressing real-time production issues. What's Needed? • 15+ years of experience as a Data Warehouse Developer or similar role. • Expertise in Oracle Exadata, Oracle SQL, and PLSQL. • Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and Dimensional Data Modeling. • Hands-on experience with ETL processing and performance tuning for large data volumes. • Excellent analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and lead initiatives.
