About the Role:
We are seeking a Data Warehouse Engineer with strong experience in Oracle and Linux to join our team. This role focuses on backend data engineering, infrastructure optimization, and automation. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of Linux systems, shell scripting, and Oracle-based data warehouse environments.
You will be responsible for maintaining and improving data warehouse architecture, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design, implement, and optimize Linux-based data warehouse processes and infrastructure.
β’ Enhance and maintain toolsets, scripts, jobs, and automation using Shell, Python, or Perl.
β’ Manage and support ETL and Oracle database load/extract processes.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data flow, performance, and reliability.
β’ Troubleshoot complex data and system issues in Oracle Exadata and Linux environments.
β’ Ensure data consistency, security, and operational stability across the warehouse ecosystem.
What Weβre Looking For:
β’ 5-7+ years of experience in data warehouse development and engineering.
β’ Strong expertise in Oracle Database (Oracle Exadata experience preferred).
β’ Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix systems, including file systems, mount types, and permissions.
β’ Shell scripting proficiency for automation and process optimization.
β’ Python or Perl development experience (strongly preferred).
β’ Practical understanding of ETL, data architecture, and performance tuning.
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $65- $70 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
