Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a Data/Analytics Engineer. Summary: Data Engineers and Analytics Engineers both work with data, but their focus areas differ. Data Engineers build and maintain the infrastructure that supports data processing, while analytics engineers focus on transforming raw data into usable information for analysis and reporting. In essence, Data Engineers create the systems, and Analytics Engineers refine the data within those systems. Responsibilities:
β’ Designing and implementing data pipelines (ETL processes).
β’ Managing databases and data warehouses
β’ Ensuring data quality and security
β’ Working with cloud technologies and big data tools
Requirements
β’ Experience with Snowflake and MFP/data files
β’ Able to build pipelines; Able to shape the data in the warehouse using DBT and SQL
β’ Strong technical skills (priority is job fit: 80% technical, 20% team mentality)
β’ Team-oriented, good open communicator
β’ Snowflake experience
β’ DBT experience
β’ MFP experience
β’ Mid to expert level with SQL, Gitlab, control-M
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
