Role description
Senior Data Analyst
π Location: Remote (U.S. Eastern Time Zone REQUIRED)
πΌ Employment Type: Contract
This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must currently reside within the Eastern Time Zone (EDT/EST) or be able to consistently work standard Eastern Time business hours without exception
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using SQL, MySQL, and Power BI.
β’ Extract, analyze, and validate data from multiple sources to deliver actionable business insights and reporting solutions.
β’ Develop performance metrics, trend analysis, predictive forecasts, and operational dashboards.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and support data-driven decision-making.
β’ Create and maintain reporting documentation, processes, and best practices.
β’ Provide training and consultation on reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics solutions.
β’ Manage multiple priorities while ensuring data accuracy, reporting integrity, and timely project delivery.
Required Qualification
β’ 3+ years of experience working with SQL, including query development, data extraction, validation, and reporting.
β’ 3+ years of experience developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI.
β’ 3+ years of experience working with large datasets in a government, public sector, or highly regulated environment.
β’ 3+ years of advanced Microsoft Excel experience, including data analysis, reporting, and data management.
β’ 3+ years of experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
β’ 3+ years of experience utilizing and interpreting medical terminology within healthcare data environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with one or more of the following technologies and healthcare data platforms:
β’ Health Information Exchange (HIE)
β’ HL7 Messaging Standards
β’ SQL Squirrel
β’ Mirth Connect
β’ PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems)
β’ CIPS
β’ NextGen EHR
β’ Epic
Education
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
β’ Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
