Title: Database Architect
Location: Boston Downtown, MA (Onsite)
Type: Contract
Database Architect (DA) will be responsible for designing a dimensional Data Warehouse that can
provide optimized information for Data visualization that can be further integrated to AI for natural
language queries. DA will be maintaining, securing, and operating databases and ensures data is
accessible, accurate, and protected, while optimizing performance and managing backups.
Key Responsibilities:
• Having 10+ years of experience in designing and implementing Data Warehouse solutions.
• Leading data migration initiatives to cloud platforms like Snowflake and ensuring smooth
• integration of data lakes, data warehouses, and distributed systems on Cloud (AWS/Azure).
• Must have hands on experience in Data modelling and Data Warehouse design and should be familiar with data modelling tools like Erwin or similar
• Able to handle different databases like Oracle, SQL Server and Snowflake
• Must be hands on with SQL and PL/SQL is required.
• Must have good understanding of Metadata management, Database schema creation and management and Data Integrity and Data quality concepts
• Experience in customer-facing roles to provide data related Solutions for Data use cases.
• Good understanding on OLTP and OLAP data models is required.
• Good understanding on monitoring and Performance Tuning and optimization.
• Excellent communication & leadership skills
