Responsibilities:
• Model, build, and optimize schemas, queries, and stored procedures in PostgreSQL and YugabyteDB
• Develop & maintain backend data services on Oracle and Couchbase
• Partner with Java engineers to wire database logic into customer‑facing apps
• Diagnose production issues, perform performance tuning, and ensure data integrity across distributed systems
• Contribute to feature design, code reviews, and architecture discussions
Must‑have skills
• 5+ years in database development
• Deep expertise in PostgreSQL (indexing, stored procs, query optimization)
• Hands‑on with YugabyteDB or another distributed SQL store
