Database Developer

• • No relocations or C2C/C2H employers • • The Data Platforms team within the Data, CRM & Integration department urgently seeks a skilled Database Developer to join our client’s Lenexa office. This 3–6-month contract role, with potential for extension, focuses on maintaining and enhancing critical data systems. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience and must work on-site in Lenexa. Key Responsibilities : • Develop, maintain, and enhance SSIS jobs and SQL stored procedures . • Manage and update database schemas for on-premises SQL Server Data Warehouse and Azure-based Data Marts . • Monitor overnight jobs, troubleshoot, and resolve issues promptly . • Perform DBA tasks, including performance management, patching, and application upgrades for the Data Warehouse and OLTP SQL Server databases . • Optionally, contribute to SSRS Reports and Power BI development (preferred but not required) .Core Requirements : • 7+ years of experience as a Database Developer . • Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and SQL . • Experience maintaining database schemas and monitoring data processes . • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on-site in Lenexa .Preferred Qualifications : • DBA experience with SQL Server performance management, patching, and upgrades (highly preferred but not mandatory) . • Familiarity with SSRS Reports and Power BI (optional) .
