This is your chance to contribute to a high-impact government archive relocation programme, ensuring critical data is securely migrated and systems remain robust throughout.
Join a multidisciplinary team including analysts, IT specialists, and archivists as you support the transition of a national digital record collection to a modern, secure infrastructure.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Lead on data migration into vital back-office and catalogue systems.
• Develop and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for scalable migration workflows.
• Maintain data integrity and resolve any transformation or performance issues.
• Troubleshoot and support systems to ensure operational continuity.
• Collaborate with technical and archival teams, providing insights and best practices aligned to security and data governance protocols.
✅ What You’ll Need
• Advanced SQL skills, including working with structured/unstructured data and XML.
• Proven experience with MS SQL Server 2016+.
• Expertise in scripting, automation, and query optimisation.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, especially with sensitive datasets.
• Active SC Clearance (must be in place before start).
