Oracle Database Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: • Assist with the development of merchant services core platform • Work closely with business partners to develop requirements, record and document the design and work closely with the Tech/Business product owners, architecture team for direction Requirements: • Experience between 10-15 years • Strong leadership, communication, writing, and relationship skills across varied levels of influence • Involved with standards are maintained in the database. • 80% development, 20% creating tables or objects. • Develop queries and tune them. • Stay up to date on query tools. • 7 years of PLSQL, JSON, Development (reading, parsing, loading, etc.) • True report developer (ETL in SQL, 19C) • Extensive experience with large quantities of data • Writing complex queries and tune them. • Query Optimizer and Query Tuner • Create tables and add attributes to a table. • Adding in lines and information to tables Desired skills: • Payments or Banking background • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to team environment • Experience working in Agile or Waterfall methodology and understanding of various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle Cheers!
