PostgreSQL / Snowflake Database Engineer
Contract
Remote (EST/CST preference)
We are seeking a highly skilled Database Engineer to support the design, integration, and optimization of provider data across enterprise systems. This role will focus on building and maintaining enriched βgolden provider recordsβ by leveraging advanced data engineering and data quality practices.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Access, integrate, and transform provider data from PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and other source systems
β’ Design and maintain golden provider records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency
β’ Perform data profiling, matching, deduplication, and survivorship logic
β’ Execute data quality checks, reconciliation, and validation processes
β’ Enrich provider data with insights including:
β’ Cost and quality metrics
β’ Network participation
β’ Credentialing data
β’ Claims-based insights
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data integrity and usability
β’ Support scalable data pipelines and optimize performance across large datasets
Required Qualifications
β’ Advanced SQL development experience across PostgreSQL and Snowflake
β’ Strong background in:
β’ Data integration, transformation, and enrichment
β’ Data profiling and quality validation
β’ Data reconciliation processes
β’ Experience with data modeling techniques, specifically:
β’ Golden record creation
β’ Entity matching and deduplication
β’ Survivorship logic
β’ Proven ability to work with complex, high-volume datasets
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience working with healthcare data (claims, provider, payer, or credentialing)
β’ Familiarity with secure data handling and access management best practices
β’ Exposure to healthcare data standards and governance frameworks
