Job Title: Database Engineer – SQL
Work Location: Fremont, CA (5 days onsite)
Key Responsibilities:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a SQL Database Engineer or Database Developer.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL, or equivalent).
• Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases, queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Experience with relational database systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and execution plan analysis.
• Experience working with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, SSRS).
• Experience with cloud-based databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL).
• Collaborate with application developers, BI teams, and business analysts to support data integration and reporting needs.
