Database Engineer

Position: Database Engineer Location: Hybrid in Detroit, MI Duration: 1+ year Pay Rate: $37.15-57.13/hr Overview The Database Engineer designs, implements, and supports cloud‑based database solutions with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability. Key Responsibilities • Design and support cloud databases in Azure and AWS • Optimize database performance and reliability • Support migrations and modernization efforts • Implement backup, recovery, and security best practices • Create and maintain technical documentation • Collaborate with application and cloud teams Required Skills • Experience with cloud database platforms • Azure and/or AWS database services • Performance tuning and troubleshooting • Strong documentation and adaptability Compensation: $37.15/hr to $57.13/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
