Role description
Duration: 6 month contract (extensions/conversion likely) Location: remote - MUST work EST hours Pay Rate: $45-55/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Must Haves: β€’ 5+ years of database development: C#, SQL, ETL β€’ Production support experience β€’ 5+ years with support of applications – break & fix, etc. β€’ Experience using SSIS packages & C# for break and fixes in the code β€’ Experience with GitHub actions for CI/CD β€’ Experience with ETL processes β€’ Experience with performing remediations β€’ Ticketing System experience Plusses: β€’ Power BI exposure/dashboard creation β€’ Azure Data Factory a plus Day to Day: Insight Global is seeking a Senior Database Support Engineer for a large health insurance client of ours. 40% of this resource’s day will be handling vulnerability assessments & remediations + code fixes in SQL & C#. The other 60% of this role will be handling tier 2 and/or tier 3 support, mainly break and fix with current code. They will be expected to handle enhancements, incidents, tickets & resolutions. Some additional responsibilities include handling operations for the team for the application & vulnerabilities. As code releases come through, this team is responsible for pushing all of code into production with different types of requests that come in.
