Job Description:
A senior-level professional responsible for designing the overall architecture for applications leveraging Databricks. The candidate should have experience with high availability, scalability methods and techniques, and knowledge of application development, deployment, and maintenance. Experience with programming languages like Python, SQL, and familiarity with both relational and NoSQL database architectures and designs is essential.
Responsibilities:
β’ Design Databricks-based data architectures and models to meet business requirements.
β’ Develop and maintain Databricks Models for high availability, scalability, and performance.
β’ Optimize Databricks performance through efficient data processing, job tuning, and resource management.
β’ Implement data security best practices to safeguard sensitive information within Databricks.
β’ Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate Databricks with application software and data pipelines.
β’ Monitor Databricks environment health and implement proactive maintenance strategies.
β’ Troubleshoot issues within Databricks and perform root cause analysis.
β’ Stay current with Databricks best practices, trends, and technologies.
Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
β’ Proven experience as a Databricks Architect or similar role in a large-scale enterprise environment.
β’ In-depth knowledge of Databricks architecture, features, and functionality.
β’ Hands-on experience with Databricks deployment, configuration, and administration.
β’ Proficiency in Databricks SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
β’ Strong understanding of data security principles and best practices.
β’ Experience with Databricks monitoring and performance tuning tools.
β’ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
β’ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
