Role: Databricks Architect Location: Remote Contract Duration: 3 Months Role Summary We are seeking a seasoned Databricks Architect to lead the design, configuration, and optimization of scalable solutions on the Databricks platform. This role demands deep technical expertise and strategic collaboration across data engineering and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities - Architect and implement scalable solutions using the Databricks platform - Configure and manage Databricks workspaces, clusters, and job orchestration - Administer user roles, access controls, and workspace governance policies - Automate platform operations using Databricks REST APIs and scripting tools - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed Databricks into enterprise data workflows - Enforce best practices for performance tuning, security, and cost efficiency Required Qualifications - Minimum 6 years of experience with Databricks architecture and administration - Proven expertise in managing Databricks workspaces, clusters, jobs, and notebooks - Strong background in Azure Databricks deployment and operations - Hands-on experience with Databricks REST APIs and automation scripting - Proficiency in Python and/or Scala for building data pipelines - Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills Job Type: Contract Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Work Location: Remote
